ALBANY is a 565 acre luxury mixed-use resort community on the southwestern end of New Providence. Albany’s community plan was designed by noted master planner Andres Duany and his team from Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company to harmoniously mix different types of units together in an oceanfront village setting that intertwines a luxury hotel with beachfront homes, marina, beach club, golf course, equestrian center, spa, fitness center, pools, water park, and includes a wide array of amenities for the entire family to enjoy.

 

Albany will feature a luxury boutique hotel, comprised of three-and four-bedroom cottages and will also include approximately 325 residences. These residences will range from luxury beachfront estate homes and equestrian ranchettes to golf view homes and beachwalk homes. In addition, Albany will offer a selection of exquisite marina apartments with spectacular views of the ocean, marina and golf course. Albany will be complemented with the following amenities.

Albany is currently under construction and the resort is scheduled to be opened during the winter of 2009. The current timeline calls for the majority of the amenities to be completed, with the exception of the golf clubhouse and the equestrian center which are expected to open in 2010.

 

Custom Home sites: A range of custom home lots will be available for sale, including beachfront lots, golf view lots, beachwalk lots and larger equestrian ranchettes. These lots range in size from 1/3+ acre to equestrian ranchettes of 3+ acres.

 

Albany Marina Apartments

 

Marina apartments: A wide range of luxurious apartments with dramatic outdoor living spaces are available, ranging in size from 2,000 sq. ft. to 17,500 sq. ft. offering spectacular marina and ocean views.

 

Albany will offer a five-star luxury boutique hotel and accommodations in a collection of beach cottages located around the main Albany Beach Club. These three-to-four-bedroom cottage homes will offer luxurious accommodations in a very convenient and central location within the resort community.

 

The Marina Apartments are expected to become available by September 2008, as the initial ten (10) buildings are currently in the final stages of the design.

 

It is anticipated that construction of the initial ten (10) marina buildings will commence in the summer of 2009 and will be substantially completed by late 2011.

Beachfront lots

BEACHWALK LOTS Just steps from the beach and when completed with custom designed beach homes will form a charming heartbeat for the community. These lots (12,000 to 18,000 square foot lots) have been designed to promote the creation of homes with inviting front porches and coutyard gardens and will span a wide range of architectural styles.

GOLF VIEW LOTS range in size from 13,000 to 29,000 square feet and will offer a select few dramatic views of the rolling greens, fairways and lakes of the Albany golf course. These custom home lots will command proud positions over the golf course's lush, tropical foliage and undulating green expanses.

BEACHFRONT LOTS Fourteen extraordinary beachfront custom home lots have been created at Albany, intended to offer the very best of island living. Five home sites offer double waterfront views - north to the marina and south to the ocean. These centrally located beachfront home sites all have commanding water views and range in size from 27,000 to 41,000 square feet.

EQUESTRIAN RANCHETTES Located adjacent to the Albany Equestrian Center, the Ranchette custom home lots will be the largest properties within the resort community. Ranging from three to five acres, these custom home sites have been designed for the horse enthusiasts who would enjoy having long paddock views and easy access to the Equestrian Center.

ALBANY MARINA In an unprecedented collaboration amongst some of the world's foremost architects, Albany challenged Robert A.M. Stern, Charles Gwathmey, Robert Siegel, Richard Sammons, Scott Merrill, Morris Adjmi and Geoffrey Mouen to create a collection of buildings around the Albany Marina that will offer some of the finest luxury units available anywhere in the world.
