LEEWARD YACHT CLUB IN GREEN TURTLE CAY, ABACO, BAHAMAS Heaven on Earth Leeward Yacht Club a historic revival community in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, The Bahamas. The neighborhood is being built and designed as a revival of Green Turtle Cay’s own town of New Plymouth. The town was founded in the late 1700’s by British Empire Loyalists leaving the new United States of America. Ancestors of these same settlers later migrated to Key West with their disassembled homes on sailing vessels making the new island a sister city to New Plymouth on Green Turtle Cay. Leeward Yacht Club is a beautiful revival of this old world architecture.
This waterfront community offers a number of models namely “The Victorian Cottage” “The Loyalist” to choose from. Dockage facility offer every home owner with access to a boat slip/dock space. The dock construction is a dynamic process, in that the dock will be expanded from its current configuration as the demand requires. For example, individual fingers will be added so boats can back down into the slip which will increase the available dockage. Power /electrical hook ups will be 50 amp or 30 amp (2-50’s) can be used to get 100 amp for larger boats. Fresh water will be available to all boats and will be metered and sold at 20 cents per gallon. Per foot per day rental / lease rates are offered and hook-up fees are available upon request.
